The country’s third largest airlines just dropped a bomb. American Airlines wants to eliminate 15% of its workforce or 13,000 jobs. American’s parent company AMR Corp. says the move will cut labor costs by 20% and help the carrier currently under bankruptcy protection get back above ground.
